World Meteorological Day

Overview In observance of World Meteorological Day 2026 (WMD), under the theme “Observing Today, Protecting Tomorrow”, the National Meteorological Service invites primary and high school students across Belize to participate in a creative video competition promoting awareness of weather and meteorology. Contest Categories: 2. Eligibility 3. Registration No late entries will be accepted. 4. Contest Requirements Theme: Be a Weather Reporter! Video must include: Video Specifications: Submission & Judging Parental / Guardian Consent Schools must confirm in writing that parental or guardian consent has been obtained for all participating students. Consent must allow use of photos/videos for educational and promotional purposes. Schools must retain consent forms for at least one (1) year after the competition.
